The subscription program allows AME to make automatic purchases for you based on the subscription program you have opted.

What are the benefits of the Subscription Saver program?

The subscription program makes it easy for you to create a metals-backed savings account. The program saves you time by not requiring you to log into your AME account every day, week, month or quarter to make a purchase. 

At the end of each program, there will be rewards that you can redeem such as discounted products & services, Limited Edition Jewellery, holiday tickets, and many more.

How do I pay for my purchases through the Subscription Saver program?

AME sets up a direct debit/e-mandate that you must approve for the required program. 
Clients will be notified ahead of time when a direct debit is close to being due. 

How does it work?

Our Subscription Saver program is designed for you to begin your Gold investment journey. We have developed the program to allow you to meet your goals whether: -

A) Retirement
B) Children's Education
C) Jewellery Investment for your loved ones
D) Portfolio Diversification

The program directly debits your funds from your bank account through an e-mandate. The funds debited will be invested in digital gold every month based on the lowest available price daily.

At the end of the program, whether you choose a six month or 1-year tenure, we will provide you reward options such as: - 
A) Discount on Jewellery, Luxury Products or Holiday Tickets up to 50%
B) Redemption for Physical Gold at an unmatched rate

Ultimately, we are enabling you to be better prepared for your future by creating wealth. 

* Please note that we will be increasing our reward offerings as time goes. We will notify clients of the new reward options available from time to time.

What is dollar-cost averaging?

Dollar-cost averaging is an investment technique. It is a technique to invest funds at regular intervals. If the price were to increase or decrease, you would purchase smaller or large amounts of gold. 

The dollar-cost averaging technique is used to reduce risk and ensure that the investor does not need to determine if they need to get into or out of the market. 

How do you determine the lowest saving price?

We look at the lowest price of each working day (00:00:00 to 23:59:49), and we execute your purchase at the lowest daily price for your Subscription Saver program. We will execute your purchase between (00:00:00 to 02:00:00) the next day.

Can I change my subscription saver program monthly contribution if I am using direct debit?

Yes, you can. However, the rewards at the end of the tenure may differ slightly. If you would like to find out more, please contact customer support .

How do I fund my AME Subscription Saver program?

The Subscription saver program can be funded by setting up an e-mandate/direct debit.

What is direct debit/e-mandate for the subscription saver program?

Funds are deducted directly from your bank account every month. The funds are used to purchase gold for the month. 

Why should I use direct debit/e-mandate for the subscription saver program?

Direct debit is hassle-free and saves your time by automatically deducting your monthly contribution so that you don't miss funding. You can just it up once, sit back, and watch your Gold investment grow.

What is the duration of the direct debit?

The direct debit depends on your choice of our Subscription Saver program, which can run from 6 months to a year. Your first month is manually funded via your AME Digital Gold account, and the remaining program of the subscription saver is funded via direct debit/e-mandate.

How does one know when the e-mandate/direct debit has been verified?

It takes up to 2 working days for your e-mandate/direct debit application to be processed by your bank. Once approved, you will receive an email confirming the activation. 

What are the participating banks for direct debit?

It takes up to 2 working days for your e-mandate/direct debit application to be processed by your bank. Once approved, you will receive an email confirming the activation. 

What happens when my direct debit duration ends?

When your direct debit duration ends, we will prompt you to set up a new e-mandate to automate your monthly contributions.  
This is only applicable if you decide to continue on the Subscription Saver program. 

What happens after I completed my saving term?

Upon completion of the saving term, clients will be given an option to redeem for Physical Gold, Jewellery, or other Products and Services or continue the saving term. 

What fees are involved?

The direct debit e-mandate registration is RM 1 

What happens if my direct debit payment collection fails on the last month of my subscription saver program?

Your Subscription Saver program is halted until payment is made by you. 

 When will my subscription saver program direct debit collection happen?

The collection of funds for the program will usually happen on the 10th of each month. If the customer wishes to have a deduction on a specific date, you must contact us.

* Please note that it would be best to not set the date too late in the month. Otherwise, one would risk the program being halted should payment fail.

 Can I manually fund my subscription saver program while the direct debit/e-mandate is pending/active?

Clients are not allowed to fund the Subscription Saver program manually. 
Manual funding is only applicable for the first month of the program.

Can I subscribe to direct debit for one month and fund manually for another month?

We do not allow customers to fund manually on other months. Manual funding is only applicable for the first month of the program. After that, funding is conducted via direct debit.

Can you cancel a subscription saver program?

Yes, you can cancel a subscription saver program. However, if you do not complete the program, you will not receive the rewards once the program ends. 

Can you make changes to an existing gold savings plan?

Yes, you may make changes to your existing gold savings plan. 

Can I revoke my cancellation request?

No, once a cancellation is requested, you will not be able to revoke the request. 

What happens if I can cancel my subscription saver program?

If you cancel your program, we will cancel your direct debit. A cancellation fee of RM 1 will be charged from your bank account for this request. 

Please note that cancellation cannot be made: -
A) While the direct debit request is pending
B) On your deduction day(s)
C) If an existing cancellation request is in progress

Can I cancel my subscription saver on the last month of my subscription?

Yes, you can. However, the program cancellation will be only effective on the last day of the current cycle. You shall receive an email notification when the cancellation is complete.

Can you pause a subscription saver program?

Yes, you may pause a program.

Is there a minimum for instalment one can make for a Subscription Saver program?

The minimum instalment for the program is set by the program we offer.

How do I delete a scheduled subscription saver?

You can inform us at to delete a scheduled fund deduction.

Is there a lock period for this plan?

The lock period for the subscription saver program depends on your choice of 6 months or 12 months commitment. 

What if I miss my payment date?

The term shall halt until you make your next payment. To achieve your goal in 6 or 12 months, we advise you to make your payment promptly before the payment is due. 

Will customers be notified when gold is purchased through the Subscription Saver program?

Yes, clients will be notified when a gold purchase is made for the Subscription Saver program.
Clients will receive a statement of holdings and receipt of gold purchased. 

Can I sell, send or redeem the gold using the gold bought in my AME Subscription Saver account?

Yes. You do not need to wait until the program term is completed. 

* At anytime during the program, you are required to maintain a minimum balance of 5 grams of Gold. Full redemption, sale or gifting can be done once the program has been completed.
