History

The journey of Australia recognising gold coins as a form of legal tender came about under the Australian Currency Act of 1965. The Australian Kangaroo gold coin has been in circulation for more than three decades. Globally, investors have been able to enjoy the beauty and sophistication of the product.

The obverse side of the 1 Ounce gold features an Australian Kangaroo skipping over native scorched earth and spinifex plant. Australian Kangaroos are known for seeking shade in the eucalypt forest, which are iconic to Australia. The reverse side features Queen Elizabeth II, the ruler of Australia since February 6th of 1952.

Authentication Feature

Each Kangaroo gold coin is laser engraved with letters on the rim as form of authentication and security against counterfeits.
